Getting to our office
We’re based in Maidstone Community Support Centre, which has been providing office space and services for various charitable organisations since 1986.
By train from Maidstone East (0.4 miles – 8 minutes walk)
Trains on the line from London Victoria and Ashford International pass through Maidstone East. Coming from London, from the station turn right out of station and walk up the hill (past the taxis). Turn right on to Week Street. Walk approximately for 5 mins down Week Street (Pedestrianised Shopping Area). Look for Subway on the left hand side of the street turn into this street – Union Street. Walk up Union Street for about 1 min take the first turning on the right – Church Street. Walk along Church Street – pass the M & S back entrance then cross over the road. Follow the road around to the left. You should see The Trinity Foyer (Old Church Building) in front of you with steps leading up the front. Walk past this and stay on the left hand side of the road. You will bear left Marsham Street. MCSC is the large red brick building on the right hand side of the road with a flag flying outside and 3 steps at the front (right hand side) and a ramp to the left for disabled access.
By train from Maidstone West (0.7 miles – 15 minutes walk)
Trains on the line from Strood and Paddock Wood pass through Maidstone West. From the station, head North on Station Approach. Turn right onto Broadway/A26 and with Lidl on your left, continue straight ahead and pass over the River Medway. With Seekers Estate Agents on the corner, continue straight ahead onto the High Street. Walking straight ahead for about 5 minutes, you’ll pass through the town centre with Chequers Shopping Centre on your right hand side. When you reach BHS, turn left up Church Street. Turn right onto Marsham Street. MCSC is the large red brick building on the right hand side of the road with a flag flying outside and 3 steps at the front (right hand side) and a ramp to the left for disabled access.
By road from the M20
Travel along the M20 to Junction 7 – follow the signs for Maidstone Town Centre, and forward onto King Street A20. Go past the Domino’s on your left. Take the first right – Queen Anne Road – and then the first left – which will take you onto Marsham Street. MCSC is on the left hand side. There is no parking for on-site for visitors and penalties are issued for unauthorised parking. The nearest short-stay car park is King Street (ME14 1BG). The three nearest long-stay car parks are Brooks Place (ME14 1HE), Union Street East (ME14 1EY) and Lucerne Street (ME14 1UE). All of these car parks are run by Maidstone Borough Council.
