We regularly contribute to events, conferences and in the media when the aim is to look at the way that people with convictions move on with their lives.

Depending on the purpose of the event, our contribution can cover:
- Criminal record disclosure processes (Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, Criminal record checks)
- Issues that people with convictions face as a result of their criminal record
- Finding employment
- Disclosing to employers
- Getting insurance
- Securing housing
- Travelling abroad
- Ways in which policies and practices of government, employers, insurers and others should be improved, to achieve a fairer and more inclusive society.
If you would like us to speak at a particular event or conference that you are arranging, please email admin@unlock.org.uk with the details of the event (including date and location, if available) and the type of contribution you are looking for. As a minimum, we require our travel expenses to be covered, and depending on the event, we may ask that a donation is made to the charity in return for our participation.
