This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic person with a criminal record to join our team for a 12-month paid placement.
You will have the opportunity to spend time working across different areas of the team, from helping people with criminal records on our helpline, to supporting our policy work to help change the system.
You will be supported to grow your skills, and there will be scope to develop your experience in the areas that fit with your interests and future ambitions; for example, communications, fundraising or administration work.
This role would especially suit someone with an interest in working in the charity sector, advocacy or social change.
We warmly welcome applications from suitably skilled people from all backgrounds, but for this role applicants must have first-hand experience of having a criminal record. Applications from candidates who are from racialised communities, have a disability or who are from a less privileged background are particularly encouraged.
